HOLY FRIKIN’ BALLS!!!! BATMAN IS BACK!!!
The fact that you are even reading this is a surprise, because most people will most likely be taking in Christopher Nolan’s latest and have no time for the likes of me. If you are reading it, it means you’ve probably already seen it (and if so, what are you doing? Go see it again!), or you are waiting to see it (and if you are, what’s wrong with you?).
But, all this hullabaloo has made for some interesting reading these past few days, a lot of it Batman related. So, I thought I’d pool some of the best materials from the blogosphere, all related to the caped crusader.
So, with that in mind, here are some things upon which you can click, which will take you to new things, upon which you can read.
Rachel has, like most, been rewatching both Batman Begins and The Dark Knight in preparation, but thing has been plaguing her mind. She offers some real insight (HA!) on a confusing aspect of the dark knight’s origins.
Ryan, Fogs, and Brian are taking part in not one, not two, but three podcasts, one for Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and naturally, The Dark Knight Rises, which will most likely be dropping soonish.
Well, one of us had to be the lucky bastard to see it early, and that someone just had to be Tom. And he just had to be a detractor. I swear he and are going to come to blows one of these days.
Sam at Film Intel looks The Dark Knight, and yes, like pretty much everyone, he loves it, but highlights a certain flaw that just couldn’t be helped.
Darren at the m0vie blog, in preparation for TDKR, has been blasting through some of the comics. Here, he reviews Doug Monech’s Prey.
Nick at Anomalous Material offers up the argument that Ra’s Al Ghul is a better villain than The Joker.
